Fees

My fee shcedule is based on sliding a scale as follows:

Below $20,000.00 see special circumstance
 
$20,000 - $29,999 = $750

$30,000 - $39,999 = $800

$40,000 - $49,999 = $850

$50,000 - $59,999 = $900

$60,000 + = $950

Fees are based an annual combined income. Proof will be required.

~ Special Circumstance ~
Each quarter I volunteer my services to one family that qualifies for free birth support. All eligible candidates will ideally agree to the use of occasional birth photography or video recording (always tasteful – you may choose how graphic photographs should be according to your own comfort level), and provide a testimonials and feedback during the postpartum period (constructive criticism is always welcomed). Clients will receive a copy of any photographs taken, which will be in the form of a hard copy of pictures, placed on CD-ROM or sent via email as an attachment.

To determine whether you qualify for free birth doula services, you must fit into one of the following categories:

·        Teen Mothers - No matter what your circumstances are, you are eligible for free birth doula services if you are a pregnant mother aged 18 years or under.

·        Military Families – If you or your partner is serving in the armed forces, you are eligible for free birth doula services (regardless of whether your partner or other family members will be in attendance at the birth).

·        Low Income Families - Families who are statistically placed at the lower end of the national Poverty Guidelines are eligible for free birth doula services (proof of income required). Please contact me for further details.

~ Reduced Fees ~

If you do not qualify for free birth doula services (or I have filled my volunteer spot for that quarter), you may still be eligible for reduced fees. All eligible candidates will ideally agree to the use of occasional birth photography or video recording (always tasteful – you may choose how graphic photographs should be according to your won comfort level), and provide testimonials and feedback during the postpartum period (constructive criticism is always welcomed). Clients will receive a copy of hard copy of photographs, a CD-ROM, or sent via email as an attachment.

To determine whether you qualify for birth doula services at a reduced fee, you must fit one of the following categories:

·        Teen Mother – Pregnant mothers aged 18 years or under are eligible to receive birth doula services for the cost of paperwork and other materials given to you prenatally. This fee typically works out to approximately $100.00 (payment plans available). Please contact me for further details.

·        Military Families – If you or your partner is serving in the armed forces, you are eligible to receive birth doula services for the cost of paperwork and other materials given to you prenatally. This fee typically works out to approximately $100.00 (payment plans available). Please contact me for further details.

·        Low Income Families – I am always happy to work on a barter system for families who meet the national Poverty Guidelines (proof of income required). Please contact me for further details.

·        Out-of-Hospital Births – If you are planning to birth at home or in a birth center, you are eligible to receive doula services at 50% of my normal fee. Please contact me for further details.
